From Friday spreadsheets to self-service booking
BCT is a Costa Rican financial group spanning banking and brokerage. This is how it moved parking, meeting room, and desk management off spreadsheets and email — onto a platform employees run themselves.

The challenge
Before Parso, space management at BCT ran entirely on manual processes that soaked up time and limited operational efficiency. Parking assignments lived in a spreadsheet: employees emailed in requests on a set day each week, and every Friday someone spent close to four hours assigning spots and putting together the weekly report. Meeting rooms were booked through reception, coordinated by email and shared calendars, with no centralized way to see real-time availability. And there was no mechanism at all for booking a desk, which made it hard to support any flexible work arrangement.
Beyond the time invested, the manual model carried costs that were harder to see: the risk of double-booked spaces, little traceability into how spaces were actually used, and a heavy dependence on specific people to keep the process running — if whoever managed reservations was out, the service to employees suffered. It was a process that had worked for years out of habit, but no longer matched what an organization looking for more agility, more autonomy for its people, and reliable data for decision-making actually needed.
The solution
Parso Corporate Experience became BCT's digital platform for managing and booking spaces, centralizing the administration of parking, meeting rooms, and desks into a single solution. More than a new tool, the project marked a shift in how the organization manages and serves its employees: users adopted the new model quickly, showing strong openness to change and an easy adaptation to the digital experience.
As with any technology rollout, the platform needed some adjustments in the first few weeks. Those were handled quickly through Parso's WhatsApp and email support channels. The speed of response, the close support, and the team's ability to resolve issues — hallmarks of how Parso works — were decisive in building trust during the transition and driving successful adoption.
Results
Operational time back
Reservation management moved from close to four hours of manual work every week to running on its own, freeing up the team's time for higher-value work.
More autonomy for employees
Every employee can check availability and book parking, meeting rooms, and desks from the app or the web, without depending on an intermediary or waiting for someone else to process the request.
Visibility for better decisions
BCT now has better-quality information on how its spaces are used — data the bank simply couldn't measure before, and a base for spotting usage patterns and grounding decisions in data rather than perception.
A push toward digital transformation
Beyond digitizing a process, the rollout marked a shift in how BCT manages its spaces — from an operation built on emails and spreadsheets to a centralized, traceable platform that reinforces a culture of self-service.
Before, we used to spend a whole Friday morning coordinating spaces in Excel. Today that work is resolved with quick check-ins, and every employee books from their phone.
